David Slade is Doing the Unthinkable

David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hard Candy) has signed on to direct the thriller Unthinkable for Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The film delves into psychological manipulation centering on the interrogation of a man who knows the location of three nuclear weapons set to detonate in the U.S.

Peter Woodward (Closing the Ring) and Oren Moverman (I’m Not There) wrote the screenplay.

Caldecot Chubb (Believe in Me) and Patriot Pictures’ Michael Mendelsohn (Lord of War) are producing.

The project is in preproduction and is casting. A summer start is being eyed.
