According to The Hollywood Reporter, Breckin Meyer, Lacey Chabert, Anne Archer, Amanda Walsh and Emma Stone are joining Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner in Mark Waters’ romantic comedy The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past for New Line.
McConaughey plays Connor, a womanizer who attends the wedding of his younger brother (Meyer) and bride (Chabert). There, he’s haunted by several old flames, including the bride’s best friend (Garner).
Archer plays the mother of the bride, a potential Connor conquest, and Walsh plays the only bridesmaid he hasn’t conquered. Stone plays the supernatural Ghost of Girlfriends Past who guides him through his romantic history in this takeoff on Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”
Jon Shestack and Brad Epstein are producing the feature from Jon Lucas and Scott Moore’s screenplay. Filming begins February 19 in Boston.
