Chris Hemsworth to Host Saturday Night Live

NBC has announced that the god of thunder himself, Chris Hemsworth, will host the March 7 episode of “Saturday Night Live,” his first time hosting the series. In other Marvel news, an international version of the Avengers: Age of Ultron poster that debuted this morning has found its way online and can be viewed below. Hemsworth can next be seen in “Age of Ultron” on May 1 with Thor: Ragnarok set to debut in theaters onNovember 3, 2017, a four month shift from its initial release following the new Marvel/Sony Spider-Man deal.

In the May 1, 2015 release, when Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Avengers: Age of Ultron also stars Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, James Spader, Cobie Smulders, Thomas Kretschmann, Paul Bettany and Stellan Skarsgard.
