“Friday Night Lights” star Zach Gilford is in final negotiations to play the love interest of Alexis Bledel in the Fox Atomic comedy The Post-Grad Survival Guide.
Michael Keaton, Carol Burnett and Rodrigo Santoro also are joining the cast.
The film centers on Ryden Malby (Bledel), who graduates from college and is forced to move back home with her eccentric family while trying to find a job, meet the right guy and figure out where her life is headed.
There’s no word on what roles Keaton and Burnett will play in the comedy. Santoro (300, “Lost”) is set to play a neighbor who is an infomercial director and becomes a friend and confidant to Bledel’s Ryden.
Vicky Jenson (Shrek) is directing the comedy, which is scheduled to begin filming Monday in Los Angeles.
