While talking to BlackFilm.com at the This Christmas junket, Columbus Short revealed that he will star in Screen Gems’ Quarantine along with Jay Hernandez, Jennifer Carpenter, Steve Harris and Jonathan Schaech.
Quarantine is a remake of Spanish-language horror film Rec, about an outbreak of rabies in Los Angeles.
The film was written and will be directed by John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, who helmed the upcoming horror film The Poughkeepsie Tapes.
In Quarantine, a downtown Los Angeles apartment building is quarantined after a mysterious deadly and highly contagious strain of rabies breaks out. A reporter and her cameraman are among those trapped inside.
