Empire caught up with Jonathan Ke Quan (Data in The Goonies), who says that all of the original cast has been approached for an animated series and that both he and Jeff Cohen (Chunk) are up for it. The sequel series would feature the original Goonies with adventuring kids of their own.
“We were approached a few months ago by Warner about doing it and asked if we would be interested,” said Ke Quan. “They even showed us character designs. It looks very cool”.
