Elizabeth Allen (Aquamarine) has signed on to direct Fox 2000’s adaptation of Ramona.
Laurie Craig is adapting the Newberry Award-honored series by Beverly Cleary. The story centers on the exploits of rambunctious child protagonist Ramona Quimby.
Denise DiNovi and Alison Greenspan of DiNovi Pictures are producing.
Allen is also attached to helm My Mother’s Boyfriend, a dark comedy that Chris and Paul Weitz’s Depth of Field is producing.
