Rosario Dawson Joins Eagle Eye

MTV talked to Rosario Dawson, who says that her next project will be Eagle Eye, the thriller from Disturbia director D.J. Caruso and star Shia LaBeouf.

She doesn’t think she’ll be part of Kevin Smith’s Zack and Miri Make a Porno, however, even though Smith wrote the part of Miri for his Clerks II star.

“It’s going to be a really interesting film. I don’t think I’m going to be a part of it. He wrote it for me, but I’m just signing on to do [“Eagle Eye”] and that’s going to be shooting from November to March,” she said.

DreamWorks’ Eagle Eye is targeting an October 10, 2008 release. In the film, LaBeouf plays a young slacker whose overachieving twin brother has died mysteriously. When the young man returns home, both he and a single mother find they have been framed as terrorists. Forced to become members of a cell that has plans to carry out a political assassination, they must work together to extricate themselves.
