New Line Cinema has hired Frank Coraci (Click) to direct Mild Things, a comedy project set up with Peter Principato and Paul Young, reports Variety.
The script by Michael Colton and John Aboud centers on a married couple who decide to go on a “baby bender,” spending a few months partying like rock stars, before having their first child.
For Coraci, teaming with New Line represents a homecoming since his first major success came nine years ago when he directed The Wedding Singer for the studio.
