Gabriel Range (Death of a President will write and direct an untitled drama for Paramount Pictures and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, reports Variety.
The film will be a fictional look at a real event about a young man who turns up at a home and tells a couple that he’s their child who disappeared years ago.
“Of all the stories I covered while making documentaries, this was the most extraordinary story I’ve ever come across, with the most extraordinary central character, whom I’d spent hours interviewing in a federal detention center,” Range said.
Range said the tale has some surprising twists and turns.
