Thousand Words has bought Transit, a spec thriller by Michael Gilvary about a family road trip gone horribly awry.
Palmer West and Jonah Smith, who last produced the untitled Larry Charles religion project with Bill Maher, will produce with Alison Rosenzweig.
In Transit, a family driving through the desert is stalked by criminals who stashed stolen money in the family’s car. The script will go out to directors shortly.
