Eddie Izzard has joined the Bryan Singer-directed thriller Valkyrie at United Artists.
He joins the previously-announced Tom Cruise, Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Patrick Wilson, Stephen Fry, Tom Wilkinson and Carice van Houten.
In the film, German generals hatch a scheme to assassinate Adolph Hitler at the height of WWII. Valkyrie is based on actual events.
