Superhero Hype! has received what looks to be the first photos of Heath Ledger as The Joker on The Dark Knight set. The highly-anticipated sequel to Batman Begins is currently filming for a July 18, 2008 release. The Chris Nolan-directed movie co-stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
