Things are looking mighty bloody on the set of Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, the follow-up to the 2003 film that put director Eli Roth in the spotlight and on the Hollywood map. This time, Ti West (The Roost) is behind the camera, with producer Lauren Moews returning, and the fellas at Dread Central have posted a preliminary set report, along with a trio of wet stills from the production. In the sequel, bound for release from Lionsgate, a high school prom is infected by the first film’s corrosive virus. Marc Senter (The Lost) co-stars alongside Judah Friedlander (Feast) and Alexi Wasser. Fans of the original ‘Fever’ will also be pleased to know that Rider Strong is back (?!) and so is the loopy Deputy Winston (Giuseppe Andrews).
Shooting has officially wrapped in North Carolina; look for the film later this year.
