According to Production Weekly, Night at the Museum helmer Shawn Levy will next direct the canine bestseller Marley & Me.
The project is based on Philadelphia Inquirer columnist John Grogan’s memoir about living for 13 years with his very bad dog, Marley.
Don Roos’ adapted the heartwarming and unforgettable story of a family in the making and the wondrously neurotic dog who taught them what really matters in life.
Shooting will start in late April in Los Angeles.
Levy also just signed up to direct comic book adaptation The Flash and the Ben Stiller/Tom Cruise action-comedy The Hardy Men.
