MTV Films has purchased Jacob Forman’s spec script Handsome Devil following a bidding war for the rights and set it up with Kevin Misher, reports Variety.
The teen thriller is set at a Manhattan prep school.
Forman’s first screenplay, horror thriller All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, was produced by Occupant Films and premiered at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival. The Weinstein Company purchased the film and will release it through Dimension Films.
Forman also wrote Devil’s Swing, set up with 2929 Entertainment, which is out to directors.
