Variety reports that William H. Macy will make his big screen directorial debut with Keep Coming Back, starring Salma Hayek, which ContentFilm has picked up for international sales.
The film, written by Will Aldis, is a coming-of-age drama about a teenage boy with a weak heart and sheltered life who discovers new horizons when he becoming infatuated with an alcoholic ex-stripper, played by Hayek.
The cast also includes Steve Buscemi, Mos Def and Macy himself.
Shooting is due to start in Los Angeles in July. Producers are Rachel Rothman, Tucker Tooley and Dan Keston.
