According to Fangoria, Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright will direct one of the faux trailers that will be seen in between the two parts of Grindhouse, in theaters on April 6. Eli Roth and Rob Zombie previously came on board to create trailers for “Thanksgiving” and “Werewolf Women of the SS,” says the site.
Grindhouse will be presented as one full-length feature comprised of two individual films helmed separately by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
Tarantino’s film, “Death Proof,” is a rip-roaring slasher flick where the killer pursues his victims with a car rather than a knife, while Rodriguez’s film explores an alien world eerily familiar to ours in “Planet Terror.”
