Lily Collins and Eva Longoria Board Untitled Lowrider Film

On the heels of word that Demian Bichir had joined the project yesterday, Deadline brings word that both Lily Collins and Eva Longoria have taken leading roles in director Ricardo de Montreuil’s untitled project about the underground world of lowrider cars and street tagging. Set up through Blumhouse Productions, Imagine Entertainment and Universal Pictures, the marks the directorial debut of de Montreuil, best known for his short sci-fi thriller, “The Raven.” If you missed it yesterday, you can check it out in its entirety in the player below!

Featuring a screenplay by Cheo Hodari Coker, Elgin James, Josh Bierne-Gordon and Justin Tipping, the project is a contemporary tale about a teen whose loyalties are tested when an annual lowrider event forces him to choose between his father (Bichir) and his criminal uncle.

Jason Blum and Brian Grazer will executive produce with Mister Cartoon and Estevan Oriol executive producing. Couper Samuleson will oversee for Blumhouse with Alexandre Dauman doing the same for Imagine.
