The Hollywood Reporter brings word today that V For Vendetta and Ninja Assassin director James McTeigue has signed on to direct Alien Sleeper Cell, a new film from Scanbox Studios and Prime Universe Films.
Written by Morgan Davis Foehl, from an original concept by Felipe Linz, the film’s plot is being kept under wraps, but it is described as an high tension alien invasion picture with the tone of The Bourne Identity and The Americans.
Joe Gatta and Jovi Sighvatsson will produce alongside Adrian Askarieh, who has been developing the film since 2011.
