Big Hero 6 and Tomorrowland Coming to New York Comic-Con

The Walt Disney Studios has announced that two of their upcoming releases will have special presentations at this year’s upcoming New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 9, beginning with Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Big Hero 6 as directors Don Hall and Chris Williams, producer Roy Conli, and special guests present an exclusive look at the film. In addition, director Brad Bird, producer Damon Lindelof, and special guests will also present an exclusive look at the upcoming Tomorrowland. Check back here for further updates on the presentations and New York Comic Con as we learn them.

Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring breathtaking action with all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Big Hero 6 stars Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell, Damon Wayans Jr., T.J. Miller, Alan Tudyk, Jamie Chung, Genesis Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, with Ryan Potter as Hiro Hamada and Scott Adsit as Baymax. It is scheduled to theaters in 3D on Nov. 7, 2014.

Brad Bird’s mysterious new film Tomorrowland stars George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Thomas Robinson. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world–and them–forever. It will debut in theaters on May 22, 2015.

This year’s New York Comic Con begins Thursday, October 9, and runs through Sunday, October 12.
