Although The Interview, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s second project as a writing and directing team, won’t hit theaters until December 25, the film’s viral marketing is in full swing. Earlier this month, James Franco hosted a faux VMA special in-character as entertainment reporter Dave Skylark. Now, Skylark is back with an interactive website that you check out here or by clicking on the banner image above.
In the action-comedy The Interview, Skylark and Rapoport discover that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan of their show and they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the most unlikely candidates, to “take out” Kim Jong-un.
