Darren Lynn Bousman, who directed Saw II, III and IV and Repo! The Genetic Opera, has, according to The Hollywood Reporter, signed on to helm a sci-fi actioner called Apex, in development through 2511 Productions.
Likened in the trade to both Predator and “Call of Duty,” Apex follows a Special Ops team that, during a mission to disarm a WMD, find themselves transported to another world and face to face with an alien threat.
James E. Cavanaugh is providing the screenplay with Joe Di Maio and Aaron Ray attached to produce Apex.
