A little over two months ago, fans got their first look at the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII when Walt Disney Pictures shared a black-and-white still of the actors coming together to read though the script. Today, LEGO has posted the below minifigure re-creation with the following message:
You’ve met the actors, now meet the Minifigure cast of Star Wars Episode VII!
It is both thrilling and surreal to start building in a couple of weeks, and we look forward to bringing this new world to life, once again (in 1/48 scale)!
It’s a pretty safe bet that new LEGO Star Wars sets are on the way, tied to the release of the new film on December 18, 2015. The much-anticipated adventure features the return of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker with new roles for John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie.
