Jason Momoa Plays Coy About Aquaman Casting

Despite a report from last week, followed by confirmation, that “Game of Thrones” star Jason Momoa would play the role of Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the actor is still sticking to his guns that it’s “all rumors.” The subject was brought up last night when he appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” which you can watch in the player below. Even though Momoa himself doesn’t want to confirm the news, it seems like he’s going to be our king of Atlantis in the upcoming sequel.

Momoa joins a cast that includes Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. In addition, Man of Steel alums Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, and Diane Lane will reprise their roles along with newcomers Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto. Written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David Goyer, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder and is set for release on May 6, 2016.
