Len Wiseman, the man behind Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard and the Total Recall reboot, is set to direct a supernatural thriller called Black Chapter, Variety reports. Zak Penn (Last Action Hero, The Incredible Hulk) will provide the screenplay based on a story he formed with Wiseman.
Details are few as to the specific plot of Black Chapter, but it is said to follow a FBI agent inducted into a top-secret program that trains its operatives in the use of extraordinary abilities.
Skydance Productions’ David Ellison and Dana Goldberg are producing with the company’s Paul Schwake executive producing. Wiseman, meanwhile, will also produce through his Sketch Films with that company’s David Bernardi executive producing.
