Topher Grace is set to headline Blumhouse Productions’ haunted mansion thriller Home, says a story today at The Hollywood Reporter. Patricia Clarkson, meanwhile, is in negotiations to join the project as well.
Grace will play a young man who, recently released from a mental institution, moves into a newly inherited mansion. Unfortunately for him, he soon begins to believe that the building is haunted by a mysterious supernatural force.
Dennis Iliadis, the director behind the recent The Last House on the Left remake, will helm Home, directing from a script by Adam Alleca. Jason Blum will produce alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Killoran and Graham King (the three of whom were originally developing the property through their Appian Way).
Universal Pictures is set to distribute.
