Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill and Kristen Wiig will lead the voice cast of Sony’s raunchy animated comedy Sausage Party, reports TheWrap. The cast will also include Edward Norton, Michael Cera, Nick Kroll and David Krumholtz.
The film is about one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence. After falling out of a shopping cart, our hero sausage and his new friends embark on a perilous journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the 4th of July sale.
Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan are directing the 2015 release for Sony Pictures and Annapurna Pictures. Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the script with Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir.
Annapurnas Megan Ellison will produce with Rogen and Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures, as well as Vernon. Point Greys James Weaver will executive produce with Hill, Hunter and Shaffir.
