Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids star Rebel Wilson has joined the cast of Shawn Levy’s Night at the Museum 3, Deadline reports. She’ll play a British museum guard opposite Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Dan Stevens, Ricky Gervais and Owen Wilson.
Featuring a script from the returning Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, Night at the Museum 3 is the third entry in the hit 20th Century Fox franchise that, between 2006’s Night at the Museum and 2009’s Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, has already earned almost $1 billion at the worldwide box office.
Wilson also recently starred in Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain and can be seen on the small screen in her new series, ABC’s “Super Fun Night.”
Night at the Museum 3 hits theaters December 25.
