Kevin Hart and LeBron James are, according to Deadline, set to play brothers in Ballers, an upcoming sports comedy from Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.
Ballers, which Hart is rewriting alongside Harry Ratchford, Chris Spencer and Joey Wells, was originally drafted by Lowell Ganz, Babaloo Mandel and Peter Steinfeld. It will feature James as a fictionalized NBA star whose younger brother (Hart) has trouble feeling inferior.
Brian Grazer and Michael Rosenberg are producing with the hope to begin production in the summer of 2014 during James’ break from the NBA.
