Anton Yelchin, Ashley Greene and Alexandra Daddario to Star in Joe Dante’s Burying the Ex

The short film Burying the Ex is now becoming a feature film under the direction of Joe Dante. According to TheWrap, Ashley Greene (“The Twilight Saga”), Anton Yelchin (Fright Night), Alexandra Daddario (“Percy Jackson” films, Texas Chainsaw 3D) and Oliver Cooper (Project X) are set to star.

Shooting begins in Los Angeles this month.

Dante’s last feature was The Hole and, since then, he has been directing episodes of “Hawaii Five-O.” His latest is scripted by Alan Trezza.

According to the site, the film “follows Max (Yelchin) and Evelyn (Greene) as their relationship takes a nose dive once they move in together. Max discovers how controlling and manipulative Evelyn is but he’s too scared to break up with her. When fate steps in and Evelyn dies in a freak accident, newly-single Max prepares to move on with Olivia (Daddario). His romantic life becomes complicated when Evelyn rises from the grave and sets out to get her boyfriend back, even if that means turning him into one of the undead.”
