Tom Hardy Teases Additional Shooting for Mad Max: Fury Road

One of the quietest studio films in recent memory is no doubt the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road. Little has been said officially about the project with only a few images having made their way online. A report came out a few months ago that reshoots are on the way for the film, but in a recent interview with Flicks and the City Tom Hardy said they’re not reshoots.

“(Mad Max)’s great. It’s a big old piece, it’s a behemoth of a piece. I’m off there next week to do some reshoots, well not reshoots actually, but doing more. We’re building, building more Mad Maxes, even more spectacular and cool stuff.”

If it’s not reshoots, then what is it? Perhaps a teaser trailer? Something to do with an unannounced sequel? We’re not sure what to make of it. Sound off with your theories below and check back here for confirmation on the matter soon.

Warner Bros. Pictures has yet to set a release date for the action adventure which is directed by series creator George Miller. The film boasts a large ensemble cast that includes Tom Hardy as the titular Max along with Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Courtney Eaton, Josh Helman, Jennifer Hagan, iOTA, John Howard, Richard Carter, Megan Gale, Angus Sampson, Joy Smithers, Gillian Jones, Melissa Jaffer and Melita Jurisic.
