Michael Fassbender in Negotiations for Trespass Against Us

Michael Fassbender is in negotiations to star in gangster film Trespass Against Us, reports Variety. Adam Smith would be making his feature directorial debut on the project, which was written by Alastair Siddons, who will produce alongside Gail Egan and Andrea Calderwood of Potboiler Productions.

In the movie, scheduled to start filming in the UK in 2014, Fassbender would play Chad Cutler. According to Protagonist Pictures, “the movie is set across three generations of the rowdy Cutler family, who live as outlaws — hunting hares, ram-raiding stately homes and taunting the police. The family have always lived this way but, defying the expectations of his father, Chad Cutler is looking for a way out of the criminal life.”

The Chemical Brothers will write and perform the original score for Trespass Against Us.
