First announced for development last fall under the title Cherries, Good Universe’s original sex comedy has found a directing pair in American Reunion‘s Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. Deadline reports that they’ll helm the now-untitled project which will include Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg among its producers.
Scripted by Brian and Jim Kehoe, the comedy follows a trio of fathers who learn that their respective daughters have made a collective pact to lose their virginity on prom night. Together, the hapless dads set out to prevent that from happening.
Rogen and Goldberg, who recently made their directorial debut with This is the End, join Chris Cowles, Joe Drake, Chris Fention Nathan Kahane and James Weaver as producers on the comedy, which is eyeing an early 2014 shoot.
