CBS Films has plans to bring Split, an original superhero tale, to the big screen, says a story today at The Hollywood Reporter. The original spec script hails from Jace Anderson and Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons, Fertile Ground).
Split follows a young orphan who is contacted by an identical twin she never new she had. When the two meet, they discover that they share superhuman abilities and wind up on the run from powerful pursuers.
The next film from Anderson and Gierasch (written by both and directed by the latter), Schism, stars Callum Blue, Vinnie Jones, Ashlynn Yennie and Nicole Lalibertie. A release date should be announced in the near future through Seven Arts Entertainment.
