Nick Stoller’s Townies Retitled as Neighbors

Those who have been waiting for Nick Stoller’s fourth comedy, formerly called “Townies,” will now be seeing it early next summer under its new title of Neighbors, with Universal Pictures releasing it on May 9, 2014 – a similar date as their release of the hit comedy Bridesmaids.

Stoller is the director behind popular comedies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek and The Five-Year Engagement, as well as the writer of movies like The Muppets and Yes Man.

His newest movie–written by Andrew Cohen and Brendan O’Brien, also both veterans of the Judd Apatow comedy camp–stars Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne and it’s about a “young couple suffering from arrested development who are forced to live next to a fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby. ”

The film is produced by Rogen with his long-time collaborative partner Evan Goldberg.
