Anchorman Ron Burgundy to Publish Tell-All Memoir

Legendary San Diego Action 4 News Team anchorman Ron Burgundy is set to publish a tell-all memoir titled “Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings,” The New York Times reports. The book is scheduled to hit shelves on November 19, almost exactly a month before Burgundy returns to theaters in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

It is said that the book, a tie-in to the much-anticipated December 20 film, will allow Burgundy to “share personal anecdotes about the women in hid life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team. Along the way, he’ll also give sage advice on a variety of topics that matter most to him.”

The film itself finds Burgundy putting the ’70s behind him as San Diego’s top rated newsman returns to the news desk. Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone, weather man Brick Tamland, man on the street Brian Fantana and sports guy Champ Kind – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy… while taking the nation’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.

Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, David Koechner, Paul Rudd, Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker, Meagan Good, Harrison Ford, Greg Kinnear, Josh Lawson, Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson and Nicole Kidman star in the Adam McKay film.
