D23 Teases Marvel’s Big Hero 6 Team

With D23 opening tomorrow, ComingSoon.net had the opportunity to travel down to Anaheim early to attend a special reception showcasing the convention’s Imagineering display and a small portion of the exhibit floor’s booths. As you can see in the below images, one of those booths turned out to be for Walt Disney Animation’s Marvel Comics adaptation Big Hero 6. Although a report last May teased our first look at director Don Hall’s take on the property, the booth’s silhouettes (also featured on a giveaway postcard) offer an idea of the team’s lineup.

It was previously revealed that the action comedy adventure follows brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion—a robot named Baymax — Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.

Said to be inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name (but quite likely not existing in the same cinematic universe), Big Hero 6 hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.

The red and blue shapes are likely Baymax and Hiro, respectively, with the odds on the yellow being GoGo Tomago. If you’ve got guesses on the rest, share them below!
