USA Today has a first look feature on David O. Russell’s American Hustle, his upcoming fictionalized account of the FBI’s 1978 ABSCAM sting operation to take down corrupt public officials including two pictures of Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams in their ’70s garb and look.
The movie follows David O. Russell’s previous two films, The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook, both which were nominated for multiple Oscars and both of them winning for respective cast members–Bale and Melissa Leo winning for The Fighter and Jennifer Lawrence winning for Silver Linings Playbook.
