Titus Welliver is the latest name to join the cast of Michael Bay’s Transformers 4, now in production, Deadline reports. His character has not yet been revealed.
Welliver joins Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller and Han Geng in the June 27, 2014 release. Although the plot of sequel is still top secret, Bay teased to ComingSoon.net that it will involve a “Chase from Hell.”
Welliver is known for big screen roles in films like Argo and The Town. Genre fans will recognize the actor from the recent Marvel Studios One-Shot, “Item 47,” as well as for playing the Man in Black on ABC’s “LOST.”
