The entire production for Marvel’s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy is mostly shrouded in secrecy. Filming is scheduled to begin shortly and yet not all of the cast has even been announced, and some actors that have been confirmed to appear still haven’t had their roles identified.
Den of Geek claims that they have confirmed with an inside source the roles that several key actors will be playing in the film. First, they say that actor Benicio Del Toro will be playing the role of The Collector, potentially throwing out the Thanos and Rocket Raccoon speculation from the announcement of his casting.
In addition, the site claims that Lee Pace will be playing Kree warrior Ronan the Accuser and “Dr. Who” star Karen Gillan will be playing the space pirate Nebula, who also happens to be Thanos’ grand-daughter.
None of this is confirmed at this point, so treat these as rumors for now, but check back here for confirmation on the casting as we learn it.
