Thor and Captain America Sequels Head to Comic-Con

Although panelists are still being kept a secret, Walt Disney Pictures has just announced that they’ll be bringing their next two Marvel Studios feature films, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, to Comic-Con International San Diego for panels on Saturday, July 20.

Set for release on November 8, Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier, meanwhile, arrives April 4, 2014 and picks-up where Marvel’s The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
