A new take on the zombie apocalypse is on the way from QED International. Deadline reports that the production company has picked up rights to an original pitch titled 19 that features a world wherein anyone over the age of 19 automatically becomes an undead monster.
Newcomer Jeff Chan has signed on to helm the project with Jim Agnew and Sean Keller set to provide the screenplay that, if all goes according to plan, will launch a big screen trilogy as well as a series of tie-in books.
Chan will be making his big screen debut following internet attention for his two “Call of Duty” short fan films, “Find Makarov” and “Operation Kingfish.” You can check out his works on his official site.
