Fox 2000 has plans to adapt Archaia Publishing’s forthcoming graphic novel Rochester into a feature film, says a story today at The Hollywood Reporter. The Devil Wears Prada‘s Aline Brosh McKenna is attached to provide the adapted screenplay.
Rochester reimagines Charlotte Bronte’s 1847 novel “Jane Eyre” in a contemporary setting, following the life of a young orphan who becomes the governess of the Rochester estate.
McKenna will also produce the adaptation alongside Simon Kingberg with Stephen Christy and Jack Cummins executive producing.
