One more bit of casting news for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy as Deadline is reporting that actor Benicio Del Toro has been cast in a lead role in the film. Del Toro’s role is being kept under wraps by Marvel, but the actor has signed a multi-picture deal, meaning he will return in future Marvel movies. Guardians of the Galaxy features an unlikely cast of characters who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions. Directed by James Gunn, the August 1, 2014 release also stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, Ophelia Lovibond, Lee Pace, Glenn Close and Karen Gillan.
