RZA Moves to Brick Mansions

Multihyphenate talent RZA has joined the cast of director Camille Delamarre’s Brick Mansions, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. He’ll appear opposite the previously announced Paul Walker.

The film, a remake of District B13 (Banlieue 13), features a script by Luc Besson, who co-wrote the original, and Robert Mark Kamen. The storyline follows an undercover detective (Walker) traversing a deadly ghetto nicknamed “Brick Mansions” to uncover a WMD stolen by a vicious drug dealer (RZA).

Best known as a musical artist and part of the Wu-Tang Clan, RZA has appeared on the big screen in films like Coffee and Cigarettes and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Last year, he made his directing debut with The Man with the Iron Fists, in which he also played the title character.
