Bill Hader Eyes Lawless

Bill Hader is eyeing a leading role in Lawless, an indie comedy written and directed by the Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.

Formerly titled The 20-Year Itch, Lawless follows the head of a high school reunion committee who, determined to get his class’ most popular graduate to attend a 20-year reunion, travels to Hollywood to convince the man, now an actor, of the reunion’s importance.

Hader is best known for his work on “Saturday Night Live,” but has also lent his talents to big screen films like Men in Black 3 and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Mogel and Paul, meanwhile, are best known for providing the screenplay to Yes Man. Lawless will mark their directorial debut.

Production is targeted for this summer in Atlanta with Mike White and David Bernad producing.
