Sony’s TriStar Pictures has released a new clip from Fede Alvarez’s Evil Dead and you can check it out in the player below, courtesy of World Star Hip Hop.
The re-imagining of Sam Raimi’s horror classic stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas and Elizabeth Blackmore. In the film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
Evil Dead hits theaters April 5.
