CS Video: The Cast of Flight

This Friday, Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Cast Away) makes his return to live-action filmmaking with the release of Flight, a drama that stars Denzel Washington, Kelly Reilly, Don Cheadle, Bruce Greenwood, Brian Geraghty, John Goodman, Melissa Leo and Tamara Tunie.

Washington plays a pilot named “Whip” who, despite his seeming functionality, is a severe alcoholic. Disaster strikes when the plane he’s flying has a mechanical failure. Despite his inebriation, however, Whip is able to turn a catastrophe into a landing that no other pilot could pull off. At first he’s hailed as a hero but, when investigation into the crash moves forward, Whip is forced to defend himself against a potential criminal trial and his own dark, personal demons.

ComingSoon.net had the chance to speak with some of the film’s supporting cast, including Reilly, Greenwood and Leo, who discuss Zemeckis’ intense take on a story where no man is a hero or a villain and in which morals are a decidedly grey area.

Check out the interviews in the player below and catch Flight in theaters November 2.
