Originally founded as DC Direct in 1998, DC Collectibles produces statues, busts, action figures, props replicas and prints for the direct market. Some of their first statues were for the film Batman & Robin, and they will continue to commemorate the release of new DC movies this year with Aquaman. Their statue work is also used to celebrate specific comics artists for their DC Designer Series, which strives to replicate the look and feel of specific comics imagery. While the statues can range in size and price, they act as a perfect expression of fandom by allowing collectors to showcase their favorite characters and artists in 3D form in their very own homes.
